MAJOR MALFUNCTION, REMASTERED plus BONUS
KEITH LEBLANC - MAJOR MALFUNCTION, REMASTERED plus BONUS
Released as SC2023 on Select Cuts, 2003
When Keith LeBlanc saw the space shuttle Challenger blow up on January 28, 1986, in a live television broadcast, it inspired him to make the track Major Malfunction, and that track's name was to become the title of his debut album with heavy political avant-industrial-dub, released later that year. Some of the tracks later appeared in another version on for instance Tackhead Tape Time. Major Malfunction was re-issued on cd with an additional bonus track by the American label Cleopatra Records in February 2003, unfortunately only days after the disaster with space shuttle Columbia. The release of the album was already planned months before. This release on Select Cuts for 'the rest of the world' features four new bonus tracks, slick black and gold art work and is available both on cd and 2lp.
